What is Eye-Sun Protection Factor?

E-SPF is a new index that certifies the level of UV protection given by your glasses. By being aware of and understanding how E-SPF works, you can choose the safest protection for your eyes.

Crizal UV lenses are the only lenses that provide UV protection on both sides of the lenses. The commonly used "100% UVA/UVB" label does not highlight the full information on the overall UV protection of a lens because it doesn't take into account UV radiations reflected from the back of the lens into the eye. These reflections which can represent 50% of all harmful UV received into the eye.
